One of my dream jobs ever since being little has been to illustrate a children's book so when presenter, columnist and author Cat Cubie got in touch about a potential book project I jumped at the chance!

After meeting Cat I knew this was the dream project for me, not only was the story a heartwarming Christmas tale it was also set in Glasgow and as you can probably tell from my work by now I'm all about creating work celebrating all things Glasgow and Scotland.

It was a joy to work on this project and not only was it set in Glasgow it was also printed here! All profits from the book went to local charity Glasgow's Spirit of Christmas, who provide gifts to kids who might otherwise get nothing to unwrap on Christmas Day, via the Elfingrove Legacy Fund.

There were also over a thousand copies donated to local charities, libraries, food banks, Refuweegee, Glasgow Children's Hospital and local schools and nurseries.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Cat on this project, we got on so well creating the book and have created something we are both really proud of. So a huge thank you to Cat for asking me to come on board on creating this book, it's been a blast!
